Another new green
A new green has opened, another is in the process of being renovated, new members, new shareholders and a new pairs knockout competition are among the many happenings in the last two months.
On the first of February the 10th green, reconfigured by Gary Player Design, was opened to members and visitors. An aesthetically pleasing first hole if you are starting on that side of the course, with new bunkering and a larger two tiered green with some serious borrows to challenge even the best putters amongst us. The green itself will take time to settle down and of course we are waiting for the warmer weather for the sward to come alive.
