AGWC by LeClub Golf – El Paraiso Golf Club
On Saturday the 20th August we held at El Paraíso Golf Club, Málaga, one of the 35 events that make up the Amateur Golf World Cup by LeClub Golf, a circuit organized for all Amateurs.
This event was another opportunity to qualify for the National Final at Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club next February, where more than 100 finalists will be invited to play the tournament. There will be two representatives of the Spanish team in the International Final of June 2018 at the Heritage Le Telfair Resort & Spa, Mauritius, which represent 20 different countries.
As Paraiso is classed as a PREMIUM Le Club course, it allowed the players to enjoy an outstanding event with 4 players allowed to classify and a spectacular prize table and more than 50 prizes for the raffle.
The competition was a Individual Stableford with two categories:
– 1st category: to exact handicap 14.9 indistinct.
– 2nd category: equal to or greater than an accurate handicap 15
The handicaps were limited to 26.4 for the men and 32.6 for the ladies.
The tournament included buggy for all participants and was a shotgun at 9 AM, in order to reduce the waiting time for the competition results.
The excellent course conditions and the fast pace of play on the day made the players have a fantastic experience.
